After studying painting at the Swedish State School of Art, I moved to London and attended The London College of Communications, graduating with a graphic design degree. I then taught at LCC and Chelsea School of Art in England, while at the same time practicing as a graphic designer.
Since returning to Vancouver I have run a graphic design business and worked as a creative director for leading Canadian corporations. As well, I taught at both Emily Carr University of Art and Design and at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
I appreciate the short drying time of acrylic and prefer the colour intensity of oil. Right now my work is evolving rapidly so I work mainly in acrylic so I can complete projects faster.
My work features my love for colour and my interest in both representational and abstract imagery. I move happily from one to the other and experiment with combinations of both.
