Sian Woodward is a Visual Artist based out of her studio The Graffiti Co. Art Studio(c2002) in North Vancouver. She holds an MFA in Mixed Media from the U of C and a BFA in Drawing from U of R. Her father was an accomplished Canadian landscape painter and art educator. She spent much of her childhood drawing, painting and doing ceramics. Her art process takes the form of acrylic, oil and mixed media paintings and poetry that explore past artists who expressed spiritual concerns or representations of the occult and flights of fantasy and surrealism. Other sources of inspiration include surreal films, music, poetry, nature, mythology and folklore. Sian’s artwork is in collections in North America and Europe.
