I am a visual artist from Brazil, and my interests are primarily in drawing, painting, and collage. I worked for more than a decade creating print-pattern designs for the fashion and decoration industry. I received a BFA in Fashion Design from Faculdade Santa Marcelina and a post-graduation in Art History from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado.

I was a professor at Santa Marcelina Faculty from 2015 to 2016, teaching fashion illustration, and also taught pattern design and painting at the Innovation Creative School in Brazil. Currently, I am part of Portside Studios in East Vancouver and teach at North Van Arts, Shadbolt Centre for the Arts, in community centers in New Westminster, as well as in private classes.

Using imagery from nature, plants, animals, and minerals, human anatomy, and objects, I aim to explore the notion that we are all connected through the thread of time. We share the same planet, air, and water, and through stories and memories, we co-exist across different layers of time: fragments of fragments. My work seeks to depict this interconnectedness, drawn from contact with other people’s stories, revealing the ways in which all life is intertwined.
