Sophia Longo is a painter specializing in watercolors and oils, as well as a fashion textile print designer. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, she holds a BFA in Fashion Design from Faculdade Santa Marcelina and a Postgraduate degree in Art History from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado. Since 2007, Sophia has been creating fabric print designs and began studying watercolor painting independently in 2012. She has taught at various institutions and is currently a member of Portside Studios and teaches at Shadbolt Centre for the Arts.
