Stephanie Blundell is a Vancouver-based visual artist who moved from London, UK, in 2019. She works on the unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations and serves as the Arts Education Manager at North Van Arts.
Stephanie’s art brings new life to discarded objects and finds beauty in imperfection. Using photography, short films, writing, sculpture, and live performances, she explores the stories behind these once-important items. Her work invites us to question why things that were once valuable become unwanted and how they can take on new meanings in different contexts. By transforming overlooked materials, she challenges traditional ideas of art and encourages us to see value in the forgotten.
