Stephanie Blundell is a visual artist based in Vancouver, BC, on the unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. Since moving from London, UK, in 2019, she has served as the Arts Education Manager at North Van Arts. Stephanie celebrates the beauty in discarded items and explores the idea of imperfection through a diverse range of mediums, including photography, short films, writing, and sculpture.

Her work, whether through figurative sculptures or found object art, investigates the relationship between discarded items and their origins. Stephanie’s art questions why these objects, once vital to our lives, are now deemed unwanted and explores how they transform into new contexts. Her practice also includes live performance and participatory art, emphasizing the tactile and conceptual roles of these objects in our lives. Through her work, Stephanie challenges traditional aesthetics and invites viewers to find new meaning in the forgotten and overlooked.
