Starting with just one acrylic painting in 2001, Wanda has since grown into her studio in North Vancouver and paints most afternoons with either oils or acrylics. Although she is essentially self-taught, Wanda has enjoyed many workshops which have inspired her to experiment with colours, textures, styles and subjects. She has participated in group and solo exhibits, organized ArtWalks and volunteered as a Director on both the North Shore Artist Guild and VISUALS (Squamish Valley Artists Society) Boards. She was Volunteer Event Manager for the North Shore Artists Guild’s signature event, the Annual Fine Art Sale 2016 and 2017.
“Painting is my escape from a busy life when all becomes quiet except for my conversation with the paint. When I paint, my intention is to bring beauty, peace and inspiration to my viewers.“
Wanda welcomes visitors to her studio at #203-1515 Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver by appointment or just drop by in the afternoons between 3 and 6 pm on the chance that she will be there!
