Join us for puppet camp where kids can explore the art of puppetry! Due to high demand, we’ve added another week of puppet camp. Each week will feature different puppet-making activities and stories, ensuring a unique experience for everyone. Campers will bring their puppets to life using various techniques, and they’ll also get to develop and write their own stories. At the end of the week, we’ll showcase their creations in an exciting puppetry show.
Come join us to practice your drawing skills in a friendly, non-competitive environment. We alternate professional models that will pose unclothed, aiming for diversity in age, gender and body shape. This group is for both amateur and experienced artists, and we welcome all skill levels. This event is facilitated, but no formal instruction is offered.
Join Stephanie Blundell, whose artistic journey is inspired by her great grandfather’s rag-and-bone collecting and childhood visits to the local dump, for a workshop that transforms everyday objects into meaningful artworks. Don't miss this pay by donation event put on during BC Culture Days!

Immerse yourself in the natural world with this hands-on workshop, inspired by the live weaving technique featured in the 2023 exhibition, While The Wefts Were Woven at the grunt gallery. You’ll create a miniature loom within a planter and weave using natural materials like twine, grass, and vines. This workshop blends art and nature, allowing your creation to grow and evolve over time.
In each session, we’ll explore a watercolor technique using fall leaves. In the final session, students will apply their skills by painting real leaves from life. By the end, students will have a visual library of techniques applied to this subject.
